Fortunately for the interior design team, many historic photographs of the Tower when it first opened were made available and provided inspiration.

The renovation of the main floor of the Tower was conceived to enhance the directional way finding and create cohesive exhibits in both the Herbert Hoover and the Lou Henry Hoover Rooms.
